Hi Jeff,
I just finished watching a version of our movie with your narration added. I really expected we would have to do some retakes (for pronunciation etc.), but actually: we're done. This is just great!
I have to admit: I never thought this - doing the voice-over for our documentary remote, over the internet - could work out so well. I'm glad we spent so much time on listening to auditions - and I'm glad we found you. The voiceover is now exactly the way I wished it.
I always wanted to have an English language version of the documentary.
(at Point Alpha/Fulda Gap for example, there are often American tourists
visiting the place - many of them because of family members stationed
here years before.)

We just finished listening through all your takes and fitting them to
the video.
We're really happy with the character of your narration! Again, it
perfectly fits the style of our documentary.
(I'm serious: While we were casting our German narrator, we had some
trouble finding the "perfect" one, and my colleague said jokingly:
"Can't that guy from the English version also do the German one?")
(Luckily, we found a great one now.)
By the way: You're really doing great in the pronunciation of all the
Mielke-Erich-Leipzig-stuff! (I think sounds like our "ch" even don't
exist in the English language?)
